Wayne Tollman
Services for Wayne Tollman, 73, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 1991 in the Peet Mortuary Chapel with Elk's Lodge No. 1797 officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Lusk Cemetery.
Tollman died Friday, Aug. 9, 1991, at the Niobrara County Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 15, 1918, at Belmont, Neb., the youngest son of Susie and Fred Tollman. He married Geraldine Berg on Nov. 18, 1948.
He was a professional truck driver for 45 years. He won several safety awards, was named driver of the month three times and in 1986 was named Wyoming Driver of the Year.
He was a member of Lusk Elk's Lodge No. 1797 and was a past Exalted Ruler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Amy Miller and one brother, Ralph Tollman.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine of Lusk; four daughters, Cheri Christensen of Bassett, Neb., Becky Watson and Trenda Kirby of Waco, Texas, and Pamela Schneider of Laramie; one son, Randy Tollman of Cheyenne; three son-in-laws, Jim Christensen, Roger Watson and Bob Kirby; one daughter-in-law, Irene Tollman; two brothers, Rex Tollman of Crawford, Neb., and Frank Tollman of Sheridan; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson, plus several nieces and nephews.
