Ot Bible Funeral Held Thursday
Funeral services for Otto (Ot) Edward Bible were held last Thursday at 2:00 p.m. from the Peet Chapel in Lusk, followed by B.P.O. Elk graveside services at the Lusk Cemetery. He was found dead at his home at 530 N. Maple in Lusk August 14.
The Rev. Clyde Thompson of the First Baptist Church of Douglas officiated. Mrs. A. F. Decastro and Mrs. Dean Glandt sang "Home on the Range" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus", accompanied by Mrs. J. P. Watson at the organ.
He was born at Macomb, Ill., September 30, 1895, the eldest son of Harry E. and Effie L. (Clark) Bible.
He came to Wyoming in 1917 and has lived in Wyoming most of that time.
He married Evannah M. Downum at Las Vegas, Nev., January 26, 1962 by Rev. Richard L. Ewing, a Methodist minister.
Survivors includes his widow, Evannah; one step-daughter, Mrs. Leah Fields, Bakersfield, Calif.; two brothers, W. W. Bible, Lusk; Wayne Bible, Torrington; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Biswell, Mrs. Florine Hughes, Mrs. Garnet Burnham, all of Macomb, Ill.; two nieces, Mrs. Betty Jo Jones, Custer, S. Dak.; Mrs. Juanita Lauderman, Macomb, and numerous nieces and nephews, and five step-grandchildren.
