Merele Dunn dies Friday

Word was received the past week by Lester and Vernon Dunn that their sister Merle died Friday at St. Luke''s Hospital in Denver. She had been in failing health for several months and had been critically ill for the last three weeks. She had been living with a sister, Margaret, in Denver.

Merle was the youngest child of the late Richard and Eva Dunn. She was a graduate of Sioux County High School and worked
for some time as a clerk in the local post office.

There will be no funeral, as she had requested that her body be given to the University of Colorado School of Medicine for medical research. However a memorial service will be held in Denver.

She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church and was 66 years of age on July 12.
