Andrew Ellicott Suddenly Called

Mr. Andrew Ellicott died suddenly of heart failure at his son's ranch near Coffee Siding last Thursday evening, Jan. 3, 1918.

Mr. Ellicott, who was 79 years of age, came to this locality from Clarion, Iowa, in 1908, taking a homestead southeast of Van Tassell, where with his two sons and daughter, he built up a prosperous ranch business, and soon won the esteem and affection of all his neighbors and acquaintances.

Interment was made Saturday at Harrison cemetery beside his wife who preceded him a year.

"Uncle Andy", as he was familiarly called, will be missed by our community, all of whom extend sincere sympathy to the family, now bereft of a father.
