Services for Hazel Marie Hudgens, 74, of rural Anderson, Missouri, were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1997 at the Ozark Funeral Home of Anderson.

Mrs. Hudgens died Sunday, Oct. 26, 1997, at the Gravette Medical Center Hospital of Gravette, Ark., of an illness.

Mrs. Hudgens was born July 27, 1923 in McDonald county, Missouri to Charles R. and Laura (Halloway) Hendricks.

She married Joseph Ira Hudgens on Feb. 28, 1942 in Mcdonald County. They had returned to the Anderson area about 15 years ago after living in Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming. Mr. Hudgens died Nov. 20, 1987.

Survivors include four sons, Jim of Newport News, VA, Joseph C. and Gary both of Anderson, and Daniel of Lanagan MO; three daughters, Donna Dollar also of Lanagan, Judy Haworth and Vicki Frazee both of Lusk; a brother Clayton Hendricks of Portland, OR; a sister Avis Beshears of Anderson; 16 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Burial was in the Lanagan, Missouri cemetery next to her husband, Joe.
