Orpha Hartwell Passes Away

Orpha, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Harwell, after a hard struggle with an attack of scarlet fever of several weeks' duration, finally succumbed to the disease, passing away yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Every effort was made to relieve the little sufferer and the best of medical aid was called, but of no avail. Her loss will be keenly felt by her distracted parents and the void caused by her passing away will be the cause of many heart-aches; yet they have the consolation of knowing that Jesus said "Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

The whole community grieves and condoles with Mr. and Mrs. Hartwell in their bereavement.
