H.G. DEUEL, 71, PLAINS-CROSSER, DIES IN SHERIDAN

SHERIDAN, Feb. 13 - H.G. Deuel, 71, resident of Sheridan since 1917, passed away at his home here last Wednesday morning after an extended illness.

Mr. Deuel was a native of Adair county, Iowa. In 1888, together with his father and brothers, he came by ox-team to Wyoming, where he was married and lived for many years prior to moving to Sheridan in 1917. Surviving are his widow and two sons, Orval of Sheridan and Francis, Dayton, as well as three brothers and a sister, James, Pocatello, Idaho; Francis, Sheridan; Ernest, Greeley, Colo., and Mrs. Melissa McClung, Kingston, Ark.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Sheridan Funeral home, Rev. Briggs officiating. Interment was in Sheridan cemetery.
