Robert E. Bump
Funeral services for Robert E. Bump, 72, of Casper were held Tuesday, Mar. 18, 1986. He died March 14 at Memorial Hospital of Natrona County following a seven-month illness.
Bump was born Sept. 24, 1913 in Lusk to Robert Otis and Mary Elizabeth (Anderson) Bump. He moved to Casper in 1941 where he was employed by Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph until his retirement 35 years later. He was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Survivors include two sons, Darrell A. Bump, Springerville, AZ, and Tom Burns, San Fernando Valley, CA; two sisters, Meda E. Teter and Emma J. Teter, both of Hutchinson, KS; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials to the Blue Envelope or Blue Envelope Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
