Franklin W. Dillon

Franklin W. Dillon, son of Calvin and Rinnie Brewer Dillon, was born January 22, 1983 at Manville. He died May 32, 1983 at St. Paul, Nebr. at the age of 51 years.

Frank lived in Wyoming until the age of seven when he moved with his family to Springview, Nebr. where he attended grade school. In 1946 the family moved to Ainsworth and he continued his education and graduated from the Ainsworth High School in 1950.

Frank served in the U.S. Army from 1950-1954.

On February 12, 1955, he was united in marriage to Arlene Marton at Bassett, Nebr. and they made their home in the Ainsworth area until 1974. The couple moved to Danneborg at that time and for the past 9 1/2 years he had worked as a truck driver for Chief Industries in Grand Island.

Frank was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church of St. Paul and the fraternal Order of Eagles Post #378 of Grand Island.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene of Danneborg; two daughters, Victoria J. Bebb of North Platte and Cynthia L. Hald of Ravenna; three sons, Randy W. Dillon of Ft. Pold La.; Randy J. Dillon of Norfolk; and Calvin E. Dillon of Lindsay; his father Calvin Dillon of Lusk, one brother, Joe Dillon of Glenrock; three sisters, Lucille Williams of Riverton, Coleen Swofford of Lusk and Shirley Langer of Custer, S. Dak., 15 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Kelly.
