Edward DeBock, Dies at Alliance

Edward DeBock, 56, of Alliance and native of Harrison, died last Wednesday morning at his home, 208 Big Horn. He was a retired city employee.

He was born July 4, 1914, at Harrison and went to Alliance 15 years ago after living in Chadron and Hay Springs. He married Blanche Meckem in Crawford in 1938.

He is survived by his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Eugene Kriz of Chadron, Mrs. Joland Duskin and Mrs. Jerry Reynolds of Alliance; and Mrs. Robert Scott of Gutherie, Okla.; three sons, Leo of Lincoln, Ray of Nashville, and Roy of Lebanon, PA.

He is also survived by his stepmother, Mrs. Agnes DeBock of Crawford; five sisters, Rose Houx, and Frances Hourt of Harrison; Florence Stetson of Boulder; Grace Valencia of Redondo Beach, Calif.; and Sister David Marie of Red Bluff, Calif.
