Services for Local Woman's Sister Held in Crawford, Nebraska

Funeral services were held in the Catholic Church of Stuart, Nebr., for Mrs. Agnes DeSive, sister of Mrs. Wm. C. Houx of Lusk, on Wednesday morning, March 21, and in St. John's Catholic Church in Crawford, Nebr., Thursday morning, March 22nd, with interment in the Catholic cemetery in Harrison beside the remains of her father.

Casket bearers were George W. Wickersham, Charles Thayer, Jerry Eberspecher, Donald Andrews, John Eberspecher and Keith Zimmerman.

Agnes Marie DeBock was born at Crawford, Nebraska September 23, 1931, a daughter of Agnes and the late Leo DeBock. She passed away at Atkinson, Nebr., on March 19th, 1956 at the age of 24 years, five months and 25 days.

She lived most of her life on her parent's farm near Harrison, Nebr., and received here elementary education at the Bodarc School.

Her high school years were spent at Assumption Academy and Crawford High School. She was graduated from the latter in 1949.

In, 1950, she was married to Howard DeSive and lived most of her married life at Stuart, Nebraska where she was living at the time of her death.

Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her departure her mother, Agnes DeBock, of Crawford, five sisters, Mrs. Rose Houx of Lusk, Wyo., Mrs. Frances Hourt Harrison, Nebr., Mrs. Florence Stetson of Boulder, Colo., and Mrs. Grace Valencia of Redondo Beach, Calif.; three brothers, Henry DeBock of Harrison, Edward DeBock of Alliance, Nebr., and Arnold DeBock of Moses Lake, Washington, numerous other relatives and friends.

Sister of Mrs. Houx Dies in Neb. March 19

Mrs. Howard DeSive of Stewart, Nebr., sister of Mrs. William Houx died March 19 in St. Joseph Hospital at Stewart from a kidney infection. Funeral services were held March 22 with burial being made in the Harrison cemetery.

Mrs. Houx had been at her sister's bedside a week prior to her death. Mrs. DeSive visited in Lusk on numerous occasions.
