Former Resident Dies In Nebraska May 2
Manzona Eldridge, 82, of Fremont, Nebr., died May 2 at his home. Funeral services were held May 5 at the Lattin and Dugan Chapel with Capt. D. J. Garrington of the Salvation Army officiating. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery.
He was born June 5, 1876 at Gallatin, Mo., moving with his parents to Rushville, Nebr. at the age of six. At the age of 10 he moved to Wyoming. He homesteaded in the Hat Creek area on land now owned by Boners.
June 5, 1912 he married Cecelia Theesen at Hot Springs. They made their home at Edgemont before homesteading in Wyoming. They moved to Fremont in 1944.
Survivors include his widow, and one sister, Mrs. Cora Atwill of La Junta, Colo.
