Harry Haworth Dies in Calif.

Harry Eli Haworth, native of Sioux County, died at the V.A. hospital in Long Beach, Calif., following a lingering illness on May 2.

He was the son of Lauren W. and Villa M. Rizor Haworth, born June 26, 1919. He grew to manhood in Sioux County and married Naoma Hall in Sept. 1937. Two sons, Lowell Harry and Ralf Duane were born. This marriage was dissolved in 1943. In October of 1947 he married Juanita (Mickey) Olsen and one daughter was born, named Jacqueline Louise.

Surviving are his widow and daughter Jackie Carroll of Seal Beach, Calif.; one son, Ralf Duane of Puyallup, Wash.; three brothers, William of Wheatland, Wyo., Howard, Lusk. Wyo., Kenneth R. of Whittier, Calif.; a stepsister, Mary Waltz of Redondo Beach, Calif.; seven grandchildren. His son Lowell Harry died in 1946.
