Randy Victor Heckman

Services for Randy Victor Heckman, age 40, were conducted by Lusk Elk's Lodge #1797 on January 25 at the Bader Funeral Home in Lusk.

Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Mr. Heckman died January 20 in Olympia, Washington.

He was born October 20, 1958 in Torrington, Wyoming, the son of Victor and Fern (Bandemer) Heckman.

He lived in Lance Creek from 1959 to 1965 and then moved to Lusk.

He graduated from Lusk High School in 1977.

He attended the University of Wyoming in Laramie for one semester when he joined the US Army.

He received an honorable discharge after a 19 1/2 year career in the Army.

He then made his home in the Olympia, Washington area.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Fran Kant.

Survivors include one brother, Harold Heckman of Glenrock, Wyoming; two nephews, Wally Kant of Lusk and Brad Kant of Chadron, Nebraska.

Bader Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
