Jerry D. Henritze

Memorial services for Jerry D. Henritze, 49, of Grand Junction, CO were held Jay 15 at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Rev. Richard K. Riddoch officiated.

Henritze died Monday, May 12, 1986 at St. Mary's Hospital and Medical Center in Grand Junction after a sudden illness. He was owner and manager of Plaza Engineering and Supply Co.

Born Sept. 13, 1936, Henritze spent his childhood in Denver and Lusk. He graduated from Lusk High School and attended the University of Wyoming He also lived in Casper and Denver prior to moving to Grand Junction in 1979.

Henritze married Sondra S. Klindt on Feb. 13, 1959 at Lusk. She serves as a medical technician at St. Mary's. He was a member of the First Congregational Church in Casper and served with paratroopers in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Judy Henritze of Midland, TX; three daughters, Joan Stanton of Denver, Jana of Denver and Judi of Grand Junction; a sister, Saundra Ray of Midland; and a brother, Leonard of Albuquerque, NM. His father, William, and a brother, Kayo, preceded him in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Hospital and Medical Center.
