Daniel F. Hebner
Services for Daniel F. Hebner, age 78, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 1990, in the Methodist Church in Harrison, Neb., with Rev. Joe Booker and Rev. H. W. Theimann officiating. Burial was in the Harrison Cemetery.
Hebner died Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Neb. He was born June 19, 1912, at Harrison, the son of Frederick and Catherine Hebner. He was born and spent his entire life on his parents' homestead south of Harrison. He received his early education in the local rural school and graduated from Harrison (Sioux County) High School in 1930.
He loved sports, fishing, hunting, and swimming. He was especially fond of horses and dogs and enjoyed ranch life where he cared for and enjoyed his neighbors.
He took and active part in fairs and rodeos. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Louise Snook; three brothers, Bill, Dave and Denny Hebner.
Survivors include three sisters; Margaret Lewis of Torrington, Rose Lewis of Van Tassell; and Katherine Knight of Fair Oaks, Calif.; plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
For those who want, memorials to the American Cancer Society will be appreciated by the family.
Peet Mortuary of Lusk was in charge of arrangements.
