Lost Springs Girl Passes Away May 15th at Douglas
Frieda Haberman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Haberman of Lost Springs, passed away at the Douglas hospital, May 15, 1931, aged 15 years, 10 months and 27 days.
Miss Haberman was born in Lincoln, Nebr., and shortly after her birth was baptized into the Christian faith. When she was four years of age she came with her parents to the vicinity of Lost Springs, where she since made her home.
Funeral services were held at the Hoffman mortuary at Douglas, Sunday afternoon, May 17th, at 3 o'clock, and were in charge of Rev. Carl Hellman, the Lutheran pastor, from Crawford, Nebr. The departed made her peace with God and died in faith in her Savior. The funeral address was based on Hebrews 9:26-27: "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this judgment; so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him, shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation."
