Lora Hinrichsen Dies at Lander

Mrs. Lora Hinrichsen, 72, former resident of Niobrara County, died Saturday in Bishop Randall Hospital at Lander of complications following surgery. She had been with a daughter there.

Funeral services were held in Lusk from the Peet Chapel Monday with the Rev. Leroy Kellerman, pastor of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church officiating. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery. Pallbearers were Elmer Nelson, Melvin Nelson, Linden Nelson, Lester Nelson, Jake Haberman, and Dwaine Brunke. Music was provided by Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Mrs. Lyle Eddy singing "Abide With Me" and "Rock of Ages". Mrs. Barbara Ferris was organist.

Mrs. Hinrichsen was born July 18, 1890 at Scribner, Nebr., to David and Minnie Wiegand. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She married Adolph Hinrichsen December 21, 1910. The family resided in eastern Nebraska until 1914 when they homesteaded in the Lance Creek community. Later they moved to Powell and Casper, coming to Lusk in 1953.

Surviving are four of five children: Mrs. Annabelle Brunke, Boulder, Colo., Mrs. Frances Sturman, Lusk, Mrs. Loreta Miller, Lander, and Glen Hinrichsen of Casper. A sister, Mrs. Carl Hall, lives at Pender, Nebr. There are 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Mr. Hinrichsen and a son, Gail, died previously.
