Services held for Infant Son of C. E. Hollons' Wednesday

A son, born prematurely to Mr. and Mrs. C. E. "Jerry" Hollon, died Tuesday afternoon at the Niobrara Memorial Hospital.

The baby, which weighed two pounds, 10 ounces, was born late Monday afternoon and was placed in an incubator, but was too frail to survive. He was given the name of John Jeffrey.

Graveside services were held Wednesday morning by the Rev. Jacob Nein. Besides the parents the baby is survived by a brother, Jimmy, and sister, Heidi, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Duff Hollon, and Mr. and Mrs. Hoblit.

Services held for Infant Son of C. E. Hollon' Wednesday


A service of prayer was held for tiny John Jeffery Hollon, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. "Jerry" Hollon at 11:00 o'clock Wednesday morning in the chapel of the Peet Funeral home. Graveside rites were held at the Lusk cemetery where interment was made. Rev. Jacob Nein, pastor of the Congregational Christian church, of this city, conducted the rites.

John Jeffery Hollon was born on Monday, May 10th at the Niobrara Memorial hospital and passed away Tuesday afternoon. The infant had been prematurely born. He is survived by his parents, a brother, Jimmie, and sister, Heidi, and his maternal and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jas. D. Hoblit and Mr. and Mrs. Duff Hollon, all of this city.
