Memorial services for Charles Herbert Hopkins, 65, are pending. Burial will be in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.

Charles Hopkins, died June 20, 2002, in Lithia, Fla.

Charles was born March 30, 1937, the son of Clyde and Fern Hopkins. The family came to Wyoming in 1949. He attended school in Glenrock. He served 17 years in the US Navy, including three tours in Vietnam.

He is survived by three children, daughters Linda Landon of Lusk, and Kim of Tulsa, Okla.; son Charles Jr. of Rapid City, S.D.; eight grandchildren, including Clinton Charles Landon of Lusk; two brothers, Troy of Glenrock and Dale of Tacoma, Wash.; two sisters, Sharlene Locker of Powell, Wyo., and Barbara Byer of Mills, Wyo.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Niobrara County Library or the Converse County Library Endowment Funds.
