Dale Leimser

Funeral services for Dale Leimser, age 78, were held Saturday, September 30, 1995, at the Bader Funeral Home in Lusk with Rev. Del Cowley officiating. Burial followed in the Lusk Cemetery.

Mr. Leimser died Thursday, September 28, 1995, at United Medical Center West in Cheyenne.

He was born May 30, 1917, at Hastings, Neb., the son of Joseph and Hattie Leimser. He married Ruth Clark on September 26, 1945, in Lusk. They lived in Powell and Worland before returning to Lusk to make their home. Ruth died in October of 1981.

Dale married Betty Morgan on December 4, 1982, and she died April 13, 1994.

Dale was a self-employed truck driver until his retirement. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Lusk.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include one son, David and his wife Diane Leimser of Lusk; one daughter, Joanne Jackson of Casper; two brothers, Joe Leimser and Dean Leimser both of Lusk; one sister Hazel Hammer of Douglas; four grandchildren, Todd and Shawn Leimser and Jennifer and Christopher Jackson; three stepdaughters, Kay Smith, of Fort Collins, Colo.; Sandra Bray of Chandler, Ariz. and Bonnie Nelson of Lusk, plus many other relatives and friends.

For those who wish, memorials to the First Baptist Church in Lusk of to the Lusk Ambulance Service will be appreciated by the family.
