Last Rites Held for Mrs. Lacy

On April 3 at 7:30 rosary was recited for Threasa Marjorie Lacy at St. Margaret's Catholic Church with the funeral service April 4 at 9:00 a.m. Interment was in the Mountain View Cemetery, Riverton, Wyo.

Mrs. Lacy was born at Andrews September 2. 1897. She spent her childhood in the Bodarc vicinity and married James Lacy in November 1915. They lived on his father's farm for several years. Two daughters, Eva and Irene were born to them.

They left Nebraska and moved to Wyoming and settled in Dubois where she ran a cafe and Jim a garage. In later years they moved to Riverton where they associated with Mike Guilford in the Teton Hotel.

They retired from business and spent several winters in Phoenix, Ariz.

Surviving are her husband; her daughters, Mrs. Jack Harris and Mrs. Mike Guildford; three grandchildren, Terry and Howard Harris and James Guilford; her half sister and brother, Mary Jordan and Tom Doyle of Harrison.

One brother and sister Charlie Staudenmaier and Anna Lacy and one half sister and brother Kathryn Eberspecher and John Doyle preceded her in death.

Attending the service from here were Mary Jordan, Tom Doyle and Shirley Phipps from Glenrock, Wyo.

Note: The US Social Security Death Index lists a Theresa Lacy who lived in Fremont County, Wyoming. She was born on September 1, 1897 and died in April of 1973.
