Archie R. Liberty

Archie R. Liberty, 96, of Lusk died Sept. 9, 1996, at the Goshen Care Center in Torrington. Graveside services were Friday, Sept. 13, 1996, in the Lusk Cemetery with the Rev. Patrick Shea of St. Leo's Catholic Church officiating.

He was born Feb. 26, 1900, in Rulo, Neb. to Abe and Arminta Liberty. He married Jessie C. Craig Oct. 6, 1924, in Hiawatha, Kan. He worked for Marathon Oil for 35 years and upon his retirement in 1965 they moved to Lusk.

Survivors include his wife of Torrington; sons George W. Liberty of Guernsey and Robert A. Liberty of Evanston; plus numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bader Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
