A.F. Hinrichsen Dies Here Mon

Adolph F. Hinrichsen, 70, died in the Spencer Hospital Monday morning of Pneumonia. Mr.Hinrichsen had been a semi-invalid since suffering a stroke 12 years ago. He was taken to the hospital a week prior to his death.

Funeral services were held at the Peet Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Wm. Bornemann of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Torrington officiating. Mrs. A.F. DeCastro and Mrs.Emerson Boinner sang "Abide With Me" and "Rock Of Ages". Mrs. J.P. Watson was organist. Pall bearers were nephews and grandsons: Lester Nelson, Linden Nelson, Melvin Nelson, Jake Haberman, Darwin Brunke and Glen LeRoy Hinrichsen. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Adolph Frederick Hinrichsen was born at Fontanelle, Nebr. Feburary 20, 1890, the son of Frederick and Caroline Nischa Hinrichsen. He married Lora Wiegand December 21, 1910 and they were the parents of five children. One son, Gail, preceded him in death. The family resided in Eastern Nebraska until 1914 when Mr. Hinrichsen homesteaded in the Lance Creek Community. Later Mr. and Mrs.Hinrichsen lived near Cody and at Casper, coming to Lusk in 1953.

Mr.Hinrichsen was confirmed in the Lutheran faith many years ago.

Survivors include his wife Lora; three daughters, Mrs. Annabelle Brunke of Boulder, Colo., Mrs. Francis Sturman of Lusk and Mrs. Lorita Miller of Lander: a son Glen of Casper: two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Studt of Scribner, Nebr. and Mrs. Anna Welle of Apache Junction, Ariz; a brother William Hinrichsen of Manville; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
