Services For Ivan Maxwell Held Thurs.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. in Scotia, Nebr., for Ivan Maxwell, 74, a former resident of this area. Mr. Maxwell died May 26 of a heart attack. He had been taken to the Veterans Hospital in Grand Island May 26 shortly before his death.

Mr. Maxwell was born in Nebraska February 16, 1895. He worked for a number of years for the Continental Pipe Line Company and retired in 1959. He moved to the Ranger Hotel in Lusk in 1963 and lived there until a year ago when he moved to Scotia and made his home with his sister Mrs. Ethel Yax.

Survivor other than Mrs. Yax is one brother, Earl Maxwell of Torrington, formerly of the Lance Creek and Lusk areas. Earl attended the services.
