Funeral Mass for Mattilda Fox Friday Morning
Mrs. Anna Mattilda Fox, 76, died June 1. Funeral Mass was celebrated Friday morning from St. Leo's Catholic Church with the Rev. T. McGovern officiating. Peet Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Jerry Wasserburger, W. D. Wasserburger, Frank Christian, Bill Magoon, Dick Pfister and Harry Austin.
She was born at Crofton, Neb., October 17, 1895. On May 4, 1920 she married Clifton Clark Fox. They lived at Wayne, Neb., where Mr. Fox was a member of the police force for 10 years. After retiring the couple moved to Lusk in 1961.
She was an active member in St. Leo's Parish.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ray Olafson, Lusk; a sister, Mrs. John Heirsing, Tulsa, Okla.; two grandchildren, Robert Olafson, Sheridan and Pamela Olafson, Lusk.
Out-of-town relatives attending the service were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Haberer, Hastings, Neb., and Mrs. Gladys Kuhn Torrington.
