Carole Olafson Funeral Thurs.

Funeral mass was held for Carole Rae Olafson, 23, At St. Leo's Catholic Church last Thursday morning with the Peet Chapel in charge. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Fred Sullivan, Frank Christian, Jack Magoon, Archie Lauer, Ronald Redding and Bill Magoon.

Carole Rae Olafson was born October 4, 1942 to Ray and Irene Fox Olafson at Walthill, Nebr. She graduated from N.C.H.S. with the class of '60.

She was working as nurse's aide at the Spencer Hospital at the time she was stricken with multiple sclerosis, but continued to work until she was unable to walk. Before the discovery of her sickness, she had been accepted into the Mercy Hospital for nurse's training.

After leaving her work at the Spencer Hospital she attended Casper College. She stayed there until her illness became so severe she came home.

She died at the Wilson Nursing Home in Douglas, October 3.

Survivors include her parents, one brother Bob, a sister, Pam, maternal grandmother, Mrs. Clifton Fox, all of Lusk; paternal grandmother , Mrs. Nellie Olafson of Macy, Nebr.

Persons out-of-town attending were Robert Olafson, SN Navy, Hawaii; Willard Olafson, Macy, Nebr.; Mrs. Gladys Kuhn, Cody, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Ryken, Utica, S. Dak.; Mr. and Mrs. Claude Cooper, Winnebago, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Haberer, Hastings, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Aldrich, So. Sioux City, Nebr.; Mrs. Grant Rap, Cheyenne, Wyo. Miss Connie Miller, Rapid City, S. Dak.; and Miss Judy Jennewein, Casper.
