Len "Lennie" E. Oliver, 57, of Casper died Friday, Feb. 20, 1987 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.

Services were Friday, Feb. 20 at the Peet Mortuary Chapel. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

He was born Feb. 3, 1930 in Richview, IL, where he was raised and attended school. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1949-54. After his discharge from the service he moved to Lusk and worked in several capacities in the oil fields.

He was also a pilot, holding a commercial rating. He flew pipe line and also had his own charter service and flight instruction school. He enjoyed playing several musical instruments, which he learned to play by ear.

He married Janet Hock on Jan. 3, 1974 in Calgary, Alberta. He was a member of the Shepherd of Hills Presbyterian Church in Casper.

He was preceded in death by his father, W. R. Oliver, and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife Janet of Casper; one son, Travis Len of the home; four daughters, Chaynee Lin of the home, Mrs. Jeanie Lynn Wilkens of Helena, MT, Mrs. Terri Lee Osborne of Austin, TX, and Mrs. Tessie Ann Smith of Helena; three brothers, Bill of Sackets Harbor, NY, Jim of Kahoka, MO and Judge Garvin of Alexandria, VA; three sisters, Ruby Hailes of Murphysbow, IL, Velda Langrand of Country Club, IL. and Jeanie Diel of Hot Springs, AR; five grandchildren; and his mother, Mrs. Maude Oliver of Nashville IL.
