Lois Marion Olmsted

An active member of Spokane Valley Baptist Church, Lois Marion Olmsted, 82, died at a local hospital December 5. A memorial service was held December 8 at 2 p.m. at Spokane Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. David Massey and Dr. Val Sauer presiding. Private interment was at Pines Cemetery.

Mrs. Olmsted was born in Bancroft, SD, July 17, 1912 to Frank Hoover and Anna Baker. She had lived in the Spokane area for 20 years.

Mrs. Olmsted was a member of A.B.W. Circle of the Spokane Valley Baptist Church and the Golden Years Club of the Spokane Valley Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Gary and Russell both of Spokane; one daughter, Connie Sauer of Pittsburg, CA; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; a sister, Carol Jean Barber; and a brother, Leroy Hoover.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Spokane Valley Baptist Church, 1222 S. McDonald, Spokane, WA 99216, or to a charity of one's choice.
