Lorena A. Postel

Services for Lorena A. Postel, 88, will be held Thursday, July 25, 1991, at 2 p.m. at Peet Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Muriel Michaels officiating. Burial will follow in the Lusk Cemetery.

Postel died Monday, July 22, 1991, at the Niobrara County Nursing Home in Lusk. She was born June 5, 1903, in Quasqueton, Iowa, the daughter of George and Carrie Lumsden.

She spent her entire life as a mother and a homemaker. She had lived in Hat Creek and in Lance Creek prior to moving to Lusk.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Postel.

Survivors include three daughters, Violet Himes of Tucson, Ariz., Nada Mason of Casper and Ramona Lewis of Alta Loma, Calif.; two sisters, Mona DeWayne of Yuba City, Calif. and Bessie Lumsden of Lusk; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

For those who wish, memorials to the Niobrara County Nursing Home will be appreciated by the family.
