Duane Frederick Piper
Duane Frederick Piper died Sunday, July 12, 1992, in Las Vegas, Nev., at the age of 80. Services were private.
He was born Jan. 22, 1912, in Laramie, Wyo., and lived on his parents' ranch in Jay Em, Wyo.
He was a Wyoming rancher many years, first near Rock River and later in the Chugwater area where he leased the ranch called "The Morrison."
He then purchased a ranch 25 miles northeast of Lusk, Wyo., where he lived many years. When he sold his ranch in the early 1970s he retired to Las Vegas.
He is survived by his brother, Harold Piper; a niece, Eloise Piper Gruwell and a great-nephew, Duane Harold Bade, of Las Vegas; a great-niece, Debra Ann Albert and three great-great-nieces of Show Law, Ariz.
