Clifford Parmely

Clifford Parmely, age 83, of Manville passed away at his home on February 2, 2004, following a lengthy illness. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, February 13, 2004, 2:00 p.m. at the Niobrara County Fairgrounds Auditorium, in Lusk Interment will follow in the Lusk Cemetery.

Clifford was born on September 14, 1920 in Wessington Springs, South Dakota. He was the child of Claude and Sylvia Green Parmely. The family moved to Wyoming in 1926. Clifford married Annie Myrup in 1942 and they had two children. He served in the United States Army in World War II. He returned to Niobrara County after being discharged and has been involved in ranching since that time.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Annie of Manville; son Paul Parmely of Boulder City, Nevada; daughter, Carol Parmely Smith of Arlington, Texas; three grandsons; Perry Parmely of Scottsdale, Arizona; Chance Smith and Branden Smith of Arlington, Texas; great granddaughter Brienna Smith of Arlington, Texas; brother Glen Parmely, Lusk and one sister, Erma Cox of Boise, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Everett; sisters, Harriet Smith and Della McAllister.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Home Health Agency in Lusk or of the donor's choice.

Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home of Lusk is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
