Anna Pfieffer Dies June 1st
Anna V. Pfieffer 86, former Harrison resident died Tuesday, June 1, in a Scottsbluff rest home.
She was born August 4, 1878, at Maquoketa, Iowa and attended schools at Sand Prairie, Iowa. She married Edward F. Pfieffer on December 13, 1900 in Maquoketa.
They moved to Harrison in 1911 and lived here until moving to Scottsbluff in1947. Mr. Pfieffer died on May 7, 1964.
Survivors include two sons, Clarence and Forest; a sister, Mrs. Lewis Witt of Harrison; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Bensin-Joliffe Funeral Home in Scottsbluff with burial in Sunset Memorial Park.
Attending the services from Harrison were Mrs. Lewis Witt, Mrs. Ella Tangen, Mrs. Grace Parsons, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie DeKay, Mrs. Milford Brewster, Edward DeKay, and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Serres.
