Warren Reed Dies In Las Vegas Sat.

Warren Reed, a long time resident of this community died Saturday, Feb. 28, at Las Vegas, Nev. from pneumonia, according to word received here by Arthur F. Vogel.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Reed and was engaged in the ranch business with his father for many years on a ranch some 30 miles south of Lusk, now the property of Albert Thomas.

Warren Secor Reed was born near Ripon, Wis., May 16, 1881 and came west with his parents when a small child. After leaving Lusk he went to Cody, Wyo., and later moved to Las Vegas, Nev., where he has resided for the past seven years. His wife was drowned in Boulder Dam a few years ago.

Funeral services were conducted in Las Vegas, Monday, Mar. 2.

Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Ruth Sparling of Glendale, Calif., a half sister, Mrs. Bessie Robertson of San Diego, Calif., and two nieces, Mrs. Yvonne Silver of San Diego, Calif. and Miss Gloria Vogel of Lusk.
