William C. (Bill) Rodgers

William C. (Bill) Rodgers, 66, passed away on May 2, in Wheatridge, Colorado due to a heart attack.

Bill was born July 26, 1935, to Laura (Kolego) Rodgers and W. Wayne Rodgers, in Pollock, Mo. As an infant he moved to Wyoming with his mother and brother. He attended schools in Niobrara County, graduating from Lusk High School in 1953. He served in the United States Marine Corp, receiving and Honorable discharge, with the rank of Lance Corporal (E-3) in March of 1959. He then attended the University of Wyoming receiving a BS degree in 1963.

Bill married Ann Baker of Gillette in June of 1965. They lived in Golden, Colo. for many years. He worked for Parke-Davis Pharmaceuticals until retirement.

He is survived by his beloved wife Ann, his brother Jess (Eleanor) Rodgers of Douglas; niece Cheri (Phil) Gerou of Evergreen, Colo.; Richard (Janet) Rodgers of Lexington, KY.; nephews David Rodgers and Darin Rodgers both of Casper.

He was preceded in death by his mother Laura (Rodgers) Dixon; father Wayne Rodgers; grandmother Anna Kolego; uncles Henry and Francis Kolego; and a nephew Walter (Skip) Rodgers.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial Service on June 14 at 2 p.m. at Ft. Logan, National Cemetery in Denver, Colo. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors' choice.
