Mrs. Rosenstein Dies Thursday

Mrs. Elsie Rosenstein, 79, died at the Natrona County Memorial Hospital at Casper last Thursday.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosenstein were held from the Peet Chapel Monday at 1:00 o'clock with the Rev. Edward Poser of the Manville Community Church officiating. Burial was in the Manville Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Poser sang "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow" and "Oh This Is Life." Pall bearers were Chuck Vaughan, Clarence Pinkerton, Marion Rasmusen, Art Rathburn, Bill Kant and Enos Lee.

Elsie Adeline Rosenstein, daughter of Charles Ezra and Anna Shippen was born February 2, 1884 at Cora, Kansas. She moved with her parents at an early age and was reared in the Manville area.

She was a member of the Methodist Church and attended school at Manville. In 1902 she was married to Charlie E. Baker and they were the parents of one daughter, Ione Baker Stotts now of Boulder, Wyo. and one son, Ralph of Seattle, Wash., who preceded her in death in 1960.

For 35 years she was a resident of Honolulu, where she was married to Julius Rosenstein in 1951, he died in 1954. Other survivors besides her daughter are one granddaughter, Mrs. Bob Anderson of Rock Springs, three great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Grace Foster of Klamath Falls, Ore., Mrs. Clayton Graham of Nebraska City, Nebr., three brothers; C. Stanley Shippen, Marysville, Calif., Glen Shippen, Canyonville, Ore. and Clair Shippen of Atlanta, Nebr.
