Sarah Ann Rust

Memorial service for three-year-old Sarah Ann Florence Rust was held at Peet Mortuary Chapel July 16 with the Rev. Frank Blish officiating.

Sarah Ann, daughter of Danvis and Charlene (Gossard) Rust of Evanston and granddaughter of Edna Percy of Lusk, was born April 17, 1979. She was killed July 12 when she was run over by a pickup truck in Evanston.

Pallbearers were Jeff Wasserburger, Tom Wasserburger, Teddy Stratton and Dennis Kaan. "The Lord's Prayer" and "Amazing Grace" were sung by Jeff Wasserburger. Organist was Elizabeth Shelton. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Sarah is survived by her parents and one sister Stacy Irene of Evanston; paternal grandmother, Edna Percy; maternal grandparents Lester and Jean Gossard, Rock River; paternal great-grandparents, Clarence and Evelyn Rust, Rector, Ark. and Fotch and Avalene Conn, Bad Axe, Mich.; maternal great-grandmothers, Irene Boyens, Atkinson, Neb. and Florence E, Sharp, Ainsworth, Nebr.

Sarah was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Dr. Danvis Rust.
