Funeral services for Robert H. Scott, 76, will be at 2 p.m. today, April 29, 1992, at the Bader-Peet Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Chan Bayne officiating. Burial will follow in the Lusk Cemetery with graveside services conducted by the Lusk Elk's Lodge.

Scott died Sunday, April 26, 1992, at the Weston County Hospital in Newcastle.

He was born May 16, 1915, in Weir, Kan., the son of Edwin and Annie Scott. He married Thelma Irene Lynn on Sept. 22, 1934, at Hot Springs, S.D., and they were the parents of four children. Following Thelma's death, Robert married Pauline Clark on April 16, 1976.

Scott was a lifelong citizen of the Hat Creek, Niobrara County, Wyo., area. He and his family were owners of a fine ranch on which they raised commercial grade Hereford cattle and buffalo. He was a lifetime member of the Lusk Elks Lodge (41 years) and is a past commander of the Civil Air Patrol. His hobbies included owning his own airplane, hunting, fishing, horseback riding and arrowhead hunting. He also worked for Niobrara County for 30 years.

Besides his parents and his first wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Arlene May Scott.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline Scott of Lusk; four sons, Richard H. Scott of Tucson, Ariz.; Robert L. Scott of the family ranch; Bill Baldwin of Laurel, Mont. and Roger L. Scott of Rapid City, S.D.; three stepchildren; Barbara Hall of Sheridan, Wyo.; Mary Ann Bodine of Jackson Hole, Wyo. and Cody Clark of Lusk; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

For those who wish, memorials to the Niobrara Senior Citizens Center or to the Hat Creek Stage Station through the Niobrara County Historical Society will be appreciated by the family.
