Henrietta Anna Barbara Seeman
Funeral services for Henrietta Anna Barbara (Speth) Seeman, age 89, were held 10 a.m. Saturday Jan. 27, 1996, at the Bader Funeral Home in Lusk with Pastor Bret Schroeder officiating. Burial was Monday, Jan. 29, 1996, in Rosehill Cemetery at Palmyra, Nebr.
Mrs. Seeman died early Wednesday morning, Jan. 24, 1996, at the Niobrara County Nursing Home in Lusk. She was born March 31, 1906 in Oklahoma, the daughter of John and Anna Speth. The family moved to Nebraska in her early years. She grew up in Palmyra, Nebr. and received her education there. She married Leonard Frank Seeman on Nov. 25, 1925, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They worked on farms and later moved to Grant, Nebr. and later to Lusk where they made their home. She was known as "Seeman" and took care of many, many children in Lusk.
Mrs. Seeman was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lusk.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two children, six brothers and six sisters.
Survivors include, a son, Myron H. Seeman; a daughter, Darlene A. Ferris; six grandchildren, Rich, Judy, Donna, Cathy, Mike, and Mark; nine great-grandchildren, Alisa, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Terra, Marcy, Michael, Dianne, Amber and Jennifer.
For those who wish, memorials to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lusk or to the Charity of Choice will be appreciated by the family.
