Brother of Mrs. Carl Baughn Succumbs To Stroke Of Paralysis

Walter Shippen, of Hyland Drive, Cal., who recently suffered a stroke of paralysis at his home there, succumbed last Tuesday, April 7th, according to word received by his sister Mrs. Carl Baughn of this city from relatives on the coast. His death occurred on his thirtieth wedding anniversary. He was about 53 years of age. Burial was made at Colton, Cal.

Mr. Shippen is survived by his widow, one son and one daughter, twins; one brother, A. L. Shippen of Kaycee, Wyoming; and three sisters, Mrs. Carl Baughn of Lusk, Wyo.; Mrs. Mamie Rogers, of Denver, Colo.; and Mrs. Ina Osborn of Midwest, Wyo.

The decedent was a former resident of this county and known to many of the old-timers of this vicinity, who regret his death and who will unite in extending sincere sympathy to the bereaved.
