Funeral Services For Mrs. Simon Held Here Wed.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 2:00 p.m. from the Peet Chapel in Lusk for Mrs. Floyd Simon, 62, who died in Torrington September 6.

Dallas Swisher of Jehovah Witnesses officiated at the services. Barbara Humphrey and JaAnn Davalut accompanied by Delna Humphrey organist sang "Grateful Praise" and "Jehovah God My Shepherd."

Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bin Baars, Orval Allen, Charles Canfield, Bud Allen, Earl Quigley, and Ed Lang. Honorary bearers were Dick Lee, Roy McLain, Floyd McLain, Dewey McLain, Happy Tyrell, Bunt Allen, Otto Vondra and Roscoe Kilmer.

Marie Gay Doman was born April 26, 1903 near Anselmo, Nebr., the daughter of Cora and William Doman. She and her parents moved to Node in 1912 where her father homesteaded. The family later moved to Lusk where she met and married Floyd Simon.

Since her marriage she has resided near Lusk except for a period of three years, soon after their marriage when they lived in Salt Creek, Wyo.

Survivors include her husband, two children, LaVern Fancher of Seattle, Wash. and Russell Simon of Buffalo; four grandchildren, Bruce, Steven, and Cathine Gay Fancher of Seattle and Renee Simon of Buffalo; one brother, Lawrence Doman of Washington, D.C. and one sister, Lila Ritchie of Cheyenne.

Her parents, two brothers and one sister died previously.
