Barbara Taylor Sorenson

A family visitation was held for Molalla, Ore. resident, Barbara Sorenson, at Molalla Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Lusk, Wyo. where she spent a large portion of her life. Barbara died of cancer at her home on February 10.

Barbara Joy Taylor was born to Robert and Agnes Taylor on January 14, 1931 at Lusk, Wyo. She lived there as a child and attended school.

On September 24, 1949 she was married to Everett L. Sorenson at Lusk. Barbara and Everett began raising their family in Lusk and moved to Prineville, Ore. in 1963. In 1981 they moved to Molalla, Ore.

Barbara is a Member of Honor as well as a Past Honor Queen of the Job's Daughters and a member of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband, Everett Sorenson of Molalla; three children, Lawrence Sorenson and Barbara Sorenson both of Molalla and Jared Sorenson of Gladstone; grandchildren, Christopher Sorenson, Nicholas Sorenson, Amber Sorenson, Lance Sorenson, Dorothy Sorenson, and Michael Sorenson.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, David and Thomas Sorenson.
