Frank C. St. John

Funeral services for Frank C. St. John, age 71, were held Saturday, August 19, 1995, at the Bader Funeral Home in Lusk with Rev. Stephen Bradley officiating. Burial followed in the Lusk Cemetery.

After fighting the complications of Multiple Sclerosis for over 30 years and being told for many of those that it would be his last, he finally decided to move on. He passed away August 16, 1995.

Frank, son of Benjamin and Rachel St. John was born February 19, 1924, in Newberry, Michigan. In his early twenties, he moved from his home state to go out west. This brought him to Casper, where he met and married Virginia M. Grimes on May 16, 1952.

In 1956, Frank was transferred to the Colorado Division of Hughes Tool Company in Denver. During the time spent in Colorado, Frank and Virginia fostered several children and to this day stay in close contact. In the early 1960's, they adopted two children, Michael at age 4 and Lori age 5 months. In 1958, Frank and Virginia moved back to Wyoming where they have developed long and lasting ties with the community of Lusk. Frank was always thankful of the many friendships developed during this time.

He enjoyed the simple things in life; the smell of fresh bread just baked from a wood stove or the companionship of friends and family around an evening campfire. His belief about life in general was that when people forget the simple things, their lives get complicated. It's only when you reflect on the important aspects - the simple joys - does your life come back into focus.

Frank is leaving behind his two children, Michael and Lori; two brothers and four sisters, plus many nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Pat St. John, Bill St. John, Bob Robinson, Ramie Fosher, Harry Brown and Mervin Boyer. A memorial to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be equally appreciated by the family. Bader Funeral Home of Lusk is in charge of arrangements.
