Dale B. Stallman

Services for Dale B. Stallman, age 69, was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Peet Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Scott Grimshaw officiated. Burial followed in the Dell View Cemetery at Manville, Wyoming.

Mr. Stallman died Wednesday, March 1, 1989, at the V. A. Hospital in Sheridan. He was born January 8, 1920, near Manville, Wyoming, the son of Barney and Hattie Bridge Stallman. He attended grade school at the Stallman School located between the Horseshoe Ranch and the Stallman ranch, and attended high school in Manville. After school he worked for the Horseshoe Ranch and later joined the C.C.C. Camp. He entered the National Guard on September 6, 1940, and was discharged from the service on September 9, 1945.

He then worked for Rocky Mountain Pipeline for a period of time before moving to Sheridan where he had lived for the last 35 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Survivors include: three brothers, John and Willis of the family ranch near Manville, and Jim of Lusk; one sister Anne Anderson of Riverton; and many other relatives and friends.
