Hubert B. Stevens

Memorial services were held Saturday, May 30 at 2 p.m. for Hubert B. Stevens of Springfield, OR. He died May 26 at the age of 72.

The services took place at Buell Chapel in Springfield with Pastor Steve Singleton of the New Life Center officiating. Buell Chapel was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Jireh Cemetery.

Hubert was born April 21, 1915, in Keeline to Frank and Olie Stevens. He had been a mechanic on a U.S. Air Force Base as well as a rancher. He had served in the Civil Service during World War II. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Ogden, UT.

Survivors include one brother, Myron Stevens and his wife, Lynn of Talkeetna, Alaska; two sisters, Zella Adams of Vancouver, B.C., Canada, and Madge Brown of Sheridan; and 14 nieces and nephews.
