Keith Emil Teten

Keith Emil Teten, 43, a former resident of the Harrison area, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1992, near Berryville, Ark.

He was born Jan. 28, 1949, in Talmage, Neb., the son of Carl Alvin and Loretta Caroline (Grotrian) Teten. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

He was raised and lived in Talmage until 1974, when he moved to Harrison. He worked on various ranches and for Sioux County. In 1989 he moved to Berryville, Ark.

On July 6, 1990, he was united in marriage to Brenda (Richardson) Teten, who survives him.

He is also survived by his mother, Loretta Teten of Crawford, Neb.; three children, Oressa, Kevin and Marcia Teten all of Harrison, Neb.; three brothers, Dennis Teten of Berryville, Ark., Kenneth Teten of Auburn, Neb. and Tony Teten of Cody, Wyo.; four sisters, Elaine Hofker of Talmage, Neb., Berniece Spurlock of Percival, Iowa, Judy Bemberger of Carlos, Minn. and Rita Dunn of Gillette, Wyo.; two stepsons, Scott Cain of Fayetteville, Ark. and John Cain of Mountainburg, Ark.; many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Alvin Teten.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 31, 1992, at the Nelson Chapel in Berryville, Ark., with Rev. David Hanshaw officiating. Interment followed in the Vaught Cemetery in Mountainburg, Ark., under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
