Former Resident Here Dies in Iowa
Clifford Thompson of Sioux City, Iowa, died Tuesday, February 25 at his home in that city. He is a nephew of Arthur Thompson, Mrs. Anna Costlow and Mrs. Ethel Taylor, all of this city, and was born in Lusk and spent his childhood here, being the son of Tommy Thompson, the first Assessor of Niobrara County.
Funeral services were held in Sioux City on Saturday and interment in a cemetery there. He is survived by a wife and two sons, his mother and three sisters and one brother.
His father died in October of 1917 while living in Lusk and his remains were shipped to Iowa for burial.
