Last Rites For Margaret Wright Ball
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Wright Ball were held from the Peet Chapel in Lusk last Thursday with the Rev. Vernon Kruse, missionary, from Wheatland officiating. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.
Mrs. Ball, 79, died June 29 in the Spencer Hospital of a heart condition.
Mrs. J. P. Watson was organist, Mrs. G. L. Pfeifer and Mrs. Emerson Bonner sang "Asleep in Jesus" and "Beyond the Sunset."
Pallbearers were Lester Wintermote, Henry Amend, Dan Dielman, Ted Pennington., Ed Sanman and Harvey Poage.
Margaret Anders Ball was born at Creighton, Nebr., the daughter of William T. and Katherine Anders March 4, 1885. She had been baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church. In 1906 she and George Watts Wright were married at Creighton and in 1907 they moved to Lost Springs where Mr. Wright was the first depot agent. They homesteaded in the area in 1908. They were the parents of three children, one of whom died in infancy.
In 1920 Mr. Wright died and her brother, August Anders made his home with her. She and Wallace W. Ball of Keeline were married in 1927. Mr. Ball died in 1941.
She is survived by one son, Wilbur F. Wright of Lost Springs; one daughter, Margaret Dorothy Walsh of Manville; one step-daughter, Margaret Rippee of Wayne, Mich.; one brother, John Anders of Orland Park, Ill., one sister, Mrs. Minnie Watt of Norfolk, Nebr.; and 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
