Harold Wahl Dies Saturday

Funeral service for Harold Jacob Wahl, 57, was held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Peet Chapel. Mr. Wahl died September 2 at the Niobrara Memorial Hospital.

The Rev Robert Boutwell conducted the service. Mrs. J. P. Watson, organist, accompanied Russell Olmstead as he sang "The Old Rugged Cross."

Casket bearers were Walt Reed, Sam Reed, Bud Reed, H. P. Klemke, Henry Klemke and Merle Hahn. The American Legion presented the flag at the graveside. Burial was at the Lusk Cemetery.

Mr. Wahl was born August 5, 1915, at Clements, N.D. He moved to Wyoming with his family at the age of three. He attended school at Fairview and Lusk and graduated from Lusk High School. He worked on various ranches in this area and for several years worked at the Lusk Elevator. He married Frances Vernette Schroefel at Hot Springs, S.D., on September 21, 1964. Mr. Wahl was a World War II veteran.

His parents died previously. Survivors include his wife and a sister, Mae Barrett of Casper.
