Alberta June Bedford
Graveside services for Alberta June Bedford, age 86, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 1990, at the Dellview Cemetery at Manville, Wyo., with Rev. Gary Burdick officiating.
Bedford passed away Nov. 23, 1990, at the Niobrara Memorial Nursing Home. She was born June 24, 1904 at Ashland, Neb., to Henry H. Bedford and Maude Waller Bedford. In 1914 the family moved to Wyoming and homesteaded 15 miles northwest of Manville. In 1924, she moved with her parents back to Nebraska. Her father passed away in 1925 and her mother married Leonard Mossburger in 1928. They remained in Nebraska until 1948 when she and her mother, Maude Mossburger, moved back to Manville, Mr. Mossburger having passed away.
She remained with her mother until her passing in 1962. She was then placed in the State Training School in Lander where she lived until 1987 when she was moved to Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home in Casper and then to Niobrara Memorial Nursing Home in Lusk in 1989.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Frank, Orville, and Carl, and sister Florence Pinkerton. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mattie Bedford of Fairland, Okla., and numerous nieces and nephews among which are Mildred Ladwig of Manville and Clarence Pinkerton of Cheyenne.
